Is counseling affordable?
Yes! We have a variety of options available to help keep counseling affordable. We accept Aetna and Cigna (Evernorth) Insurance Plans, can assist you with filing Out Of Network (OON) benefits, and we offer sliding scale services to those who have financial barriers. All major credit cards and health spending cards are accepted.
Where is your office located?
We offer telehealth services from the comfort of your home! Research has shown there is no significant difference between in-person therapy versus telehealth services. Clients appreciate the flexibility and comfort of being able to join sessions from their home computer, tablet, or smart phone. Clients who attend telehealth sessions also appreciate saving time and gas money by attending online versus an office. At Healing in the Boro, we use Zoom for Healthcare Providers to ensure you receive professional telehealth services.
What can I expect with my first session?
Before your first counseling session begins, your counselor will schedule a free 15 minute meet and greet with you via Zoom to answer any questions, discuss how the therapy process will work, provide you with instructions on how to complete your intake paperwork online, go over expected costs of therapy, and make sure that telehealth therapy will be beneficial to you.

At your first session, your counselor will continue to orient you to the therapy process, review your intake questionnaire with you, and develop a better understanding of your strengths, needs, and goals. Your counselor will also give you recommendations to help you along your counseling journey.
